LCF Jarrell will be having our first outreach event at the end of July! We will be hosting a free clothing giveaway for the Jarrell community and are looking for donations of used or new clothing in good shape and ready for a new home. All donated undergarments should be brand new. You can drop off your donations at the pastor's house. Please coordinate your donation with Sister Jessica. You can also bring donations on the day of the event, but please do so at least 30 minutes before the start time at 10am to give us time to sort and display the donations. We will have waters and light snacks for anyone who comes!
We will also need volunteers to help set up, man tables, hand out waters and snacks, and clean up after the event. A sign up sheet will be in the main hall at church starting on 6/21. We will provide lunch after cleanup for all of the volunteers.
As part of the clean up, please take with you what you donated if it has not been taken. Or a volunteer willing to donate the remaining clothes to a local homeless shelter or thrift store would also be wonderfully helpful!
