For all of the kids who have been coming to and participating in our kids' church and earning points, we have a special event for you! We will be hosting our 1st Annual Trading Post where the kids will be able to purchase Christmas gifts for their family members with the points they have earned throughout the year with the goal of teaching our kids that when they listen to God and follow His instructions, that He can bless them and use those blessings to reach others and spread God's love to His people.
Because of the hard work our kids have done all year, we ask that families do not invite kids who have not participated in our kids' church program to avoid any disappointment. Instead, please invite them to visit LCF Jarrell for one of our weekly services so they can decide to join our kids' church and participate in the Trading Post next year!
There will be pizza and sodas for the families participating. Feel free to bring any sides or desserts if you wish!
We will need volunteers to help set up the gifts and tables, man the tables and help the kids with their shopping, serving food to families, and clean up after the event is over. Please fill out the sign up sheet in the main hall at church.
We are also looking for donations for gifts and wrapping supplies! There will be a donation bin at the back of the sanctuary each Sunday starting on the first sunday of September. Below is a link to a list of requested items. We will update this list with additions as needed, as well as when any items are no longer needed because of the generous donations received.
